Chip ChipThis is a featured page

"Chip chip" is a phrase used by the hosts of the show and by some American listeners to refer to British things or people. It can be used either as a noun and an adjective. As a noun, "chip chip" woulddenote a British person. A prime example of this is in Episode 191: Chip Chip, where two fans from England who came to visit America and went on the show were dubbed "the Chip Chips." As an adjective, "chip chip" would simply mean that the object is British in some way. Generally speaking, "chip chip" may be used to reference things in the United Kingdom--i.e. not just things related to Great Britain.

The phrase originated from Patrick's tendency to use "chip chip" when affecting a British accent or talking to British fans.
