Iron Cake is a mysterious character in NLO. First appearing on episode 302, Iron Cake has various abilities as well as his fair share of personality quirks. The shows's hosts have described him both as wearing a chef's outfit and (seemingly) being covered in scrap metal; perhaps his costume is a synthesis of the two. Ironcake speaks with a bizarre pesudo-British accent but conducts conversations in an extremely non-linear fashion. He shares Steven Carlson's tendency to occadsionally respond to some questions with a nonsensical "Yes."

He can be considered a superhero in some ways, as he has superpowers and protects the show hosts. His primary ability is quickly and efficiently constructing fortresses out of iron and cake---a skill that garners both respect and confusion from Patrick, who points out that the iron portions look sturdy but the cake parts could easily be collapsed or eaten (NLO 303, after he builds Deric's fortress)

Ironcake seems to have an attachment to Chef and has also professed on numerous occasions a liking of bacon.

• 00:26:00 - 00:28:28: First meets the hosts, reveals his love of bacon, and constructs a fortress around Chef. Leaves.
• 00:33:47 - 00:37:30: Interrupts a story to get a seat for listening to the show, then continues to clank and slide his metal in the background. Erupts with excitement at the mention of metal spikes and proceeds to build another fortress around Chef. Leaves.
• 01:01:54 - 01:04:28: Bursts in to protect Chef and, after some cordial banter, spontaneously erects another fortress around Chef. After ignoring Chef's cake of choice and summarizing his character, he announces he's coming to Biloxi. Johnny B says he could beat Ironcake with a magnet; Ironcake rebukes him, then leaves, announcing his return on Saint Crispin's day.

NLO 303: Nobody Likes a Quitter

• 00:58:54 - 01:00:04: Interrupts Johnny B tech support and demands to know where Chef is. After learning Chef has gone to Biloxi (obviously Ironcake didn't go after all) Ironcake decides to build a fortress around Deric. Leaves.
