Kill Yourself was the eponymous phrase in Episode 130. Patrick went off on a long, somber monologue regarding the slings and arrows of life, telling listeners to simply kill themselves to end it all. It created some controversy, given the seriousness with which Patrick delivered it.

The joke then evolved some, away from the somewhat jarring way it was introduced. It became "Kill yourself, and mention Nobody Likes Onions in the suicide note." As that was still telling listeners directly to kill themselves, it became "if you are already going to kill yourself, mention NLO."

Like many other phrases that catch on, "Kill Yourself" became a t-shirt available in the NLO Store. It is still listed as In Stock in the store, but supplies are limited.
