NLO Marathon Show

Semi-annually, Nobody Likes Onions hosts a marathon show as a donation drive.

The rules are simple: At least $50 needs to be donated every 30 minutes in order to keep the show going. Note that this rule means that there are no carry-over donations; donating $100 at once buys just as much as marathon time as donating $51.

Memorable Events from Previous Marathon Show

Sending in "Shock" sites to the hosts, resulting in hilarous reactions from the guys. The most talked about of the sites was 2girls1cup, which would go on to be mentioned in later episodes, either directly or in reference.

In the later of hours of a marathon, a sort of game ensues involving fans trying to coordinate donations to maximize time while the hosts try to trick listeners by not mentioning donations or getting them to overdonate for a given half-hour. It's a neat example of host and listener interaction, which is what the whole marathon is about after all -- it's not so much a normal show with hours of typical NLO content as it is a chance for the hosts and listeners to hang out for an extended period of time.
