Roy Johnson is a semi-frequent guest host on NLO, appearing about once every few months for a few episodes. He, like Patrick, is a stand-up comic, and has known Patrick since he started comedy. The two are apparently good friends, and Roy is well-liked by many fans as well. He released his first CD Love Notes From The True Romantic in the NLO store, at a discount price, as a gift for the listeners.

Roy was born in New York and was raised in Oklahoma. He lived in Tampa for years, developing roots in the local comedy scene, and later moved to New York City. He recently moved back to the Tampa area with his wife and is now a recurring personality on the show.

In 2006 Roy won the Maxim/Bud Light Real Men of Comedy Competition in Atlantic City.
