The Patrick Quitting IncidentThis is a featured page

The Incident

In early December 2005 Patrick unexpectedly quit the show because of some 'inappropriate' remarks he had in Episode 44 during the BPOW, Porcuponics. After slating the 'podcast' as always and ripping on the daughters lack of communication skills he uttered the immortal line, "You know what might help her enunciate better? My dick in her mouth."

One show later Adam and Nick recorded a brief 'show' on 2 laptop microphones and explained Patrick had left the show after being angered by accusations that he was a pedophile after the comment in NLO 44, and that he had refused to allow them to use any equipment as he was "still bitter".

Several (short) episodes of poor quality Adam followed, and so the majority of the fans believed the incident was just a sad reality.

The Return

On NLO episode 49: All up in your chimney, Patrick made a surprise return to the show, and explained his reasons for his temporary disappearance. He revealed that he did originally intend to leave the show, and was unhappy about accusations made about him, however he had decided to come back previous to the infamous Adam & Nick shows, and only recorded them as a joke. At the beginning of the show, Patrick played a song by Eminem called "Without Me" as a way of showing the fans he was back in a special way.

Several audio clips of Patrick bursting into laughter during the recording of the Adam & Nick episodes were played at the end of the episode.
